Literacy Training

In Africa, the literacy rate is shockingly low. Most of our ladies can speak English but they cannot read or write in their own language. The Lord has laid it on our hearts to give them literacy training in their own language. They have grown tremendously through our discipleship program and now are hungry to read the Word on their own. We provide them a Bible in Arabic, Acholi, Dinka or Mari. They learn to read directly from the scriptures and this stays in line with our vision and our heart for discipleship. The classroom is opened to any adult who wishes to attend. We provide certificates for each level successfully completed. Graduates from the training are given a Bible so they can study the scriptures and grow.

We hope that these women and the women in America will be able to connect as prayer partners and encourage one another in the faith through correspondence.
