Vicky Bentley
Vicky Bentley has been a missionary to Africa for over 13 years. Her husband, Wes Bentley, is the founder and director of Far Reaching Ministries. In 2005, she founded Far Reaching Ministries Aviation. The heart of her ministry is to disciple African women and children with the Word of God and helps them in their struggles to survive.
Vicky desires for the women in Africa, and in the United States, to join together in fellowship. As she has continued to seek God’s will, He has faithfully provided for all FRMA’s needs, and through Rabuna Fi (which is Arabic for “God is here”). Income generation projects, a tailoring school and literacy classes have been established. Love Covers is also one of FRMA’s projects (Love Covers is a three day VBS, which not only reaches into the hearts of children but also into the community, to show the love of God which covers His children).
Vicky passionately shares the Lord with women all over the world, desiring to bless them no matter where they are. She has been the keynote speaker at women’s conferences in Russia, Nepal, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, and throughout the United States. She and her husband, Wes, were featured on Focus on the Family with Dr. James Dobson in 2005, sharing on the cost of discipleship and the persecuted church.
Vicky’s favorite verse is from 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, “We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”
