Chaplain Graduation

When graduation arrives for our men you can see in their eyes the anticipation and expectation that God is going to use them mightily. Even though, as they prepare to go to the frontlines to share the great salvation of our Lord, they know that they might not return home. The chaplains are not afraid. They recognize God has called them to His service. Their resolve has been refined in the crucible of suffering. God, Himself, has fortified their souls and we know that they will stand for Christ, counting their very lives worth nothing, in order to finish the race. Only those who are rooted in the Lord, dead to the flesh and alive to God, can endure such hardships of war. As one chaplain has expressed, “We have only one fear, and that is that anyone would perish before receiving Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.”
